These Terms do not imply any transfer or license of intellectual property rights on any TakeTurns or its beneficiaries’ proprietary rights.

We grant our users a simple right to use the Website and the permission to download and use the materials downloaded for a personal, non-commercial transitory use. This right is revocable at any time, free, non-exclusive and worldwide. It is intended for personal use under these Terms.

Security of Your Personal Information

We implemented technical and organizational security measures we deemed appropriate to preserve the confidentiality and security of your personal data processes and aiming at preventing loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification which take into account the nature and type of personal data processed.​

When we use processors, i.e. service providers to whom we have delegated all or part of a processing and who process the personal data of the data subjects in accordance with our instructions, we undertake to request that they comply and implement sufficient security measures to protect personal data.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need to as provided for each processing in article “Characteristics of the Processing”. If your personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.​

Children’s Privacy

We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.

  • Internal recipients are all TakeTurns staff members whose duties, functions and missions justify that they access the personal data of data subjects (e.g. commercial department, marketing department, client relations department and prospect) for the sole purposes set out in this privacy policy and within the framework of the technical and organizational measures implemented by us aiming at ensuring the confidentiality and security of the personal data, and parent, subsidiary, or affiliate of our company;

  • third party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services, for example, IT service providers, data storage, hosting and server providers, advertisers, or analytics platforms;
  • our existing or potential consulting, auditing and financial control firms including outside counsel and;
  • courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities, and law enforcement officers within the scope of their powers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights;

in the event of an acquisition, fund raising, reorganization of TakeTurns, sell or transfer of TakeTurns’ business or assets by any means whatsoever, including by merger, contribution or sale of TakeTurns or its shares, the potential buyers/beneficiary(ies), and their advisors and counsel as part of an audit prior to the transaction and following the buyer / beneficiary following the transaction.

Data Transfers Outside The European Union

For the purposes of our activities, we may transfer personal data outside the European union, in the event, for example, we use a processor with data centers located outside the European union. 

If the country receiving the personal data does not benefit from an adequacy decision by the European commission and does not present an adequate level of data protection, we make the following commitments:

  • adopt appropriate data protection safeguards, including sign and apply the latest version of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council or any future version;
  • assess the data protection legislation of the receiving country and, should this assessment show that the legislation compromises the effectiveness of the standard contractual clauses, adopt additional protection and security measures in order to protect the personal data transferred.
